Jeremy Hiniker (guitar) and Claire Zwiefelhofer (clarinet) are a new duo formed during their studies at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. The two have spent the past year creating and performing their own arrangements while discovering rarely performed, hidden gems in the repertoire. The uncommon instrumentation produces lush timbres and unique colors that are sure to beg the question, “why don’t more composers write for this?”

The duo will perform a variety of works by such composers as Gershwin, Vassiliev, Fortino, Larsen, and more. Following the concert will be a live Q&A for all audience members to participate in.
